About the role

The University of Wollongong invites applications for a permanent academic appointment in Educational Leadership at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor level. You will join the School of Education to deliver high‑quality teaching, advance research, and shape curriculum for future school and system leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Educational Leadership.
• Contribute to curriculum innovation and program development across campuses.
• Conduct impactful research aligned with educational leadership themes.
• Supervise postgraduate and higher‑degree‑by‑research students.
• Participate in governance, service, and professional activities within the School.
• Maintain regular on‑campus presence to support face‑to‑face teaching and student engagement.

Required profile

• Doctoral qualification in Educational Leadership or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Educational Leadership within the Australian education context.
• Strong record of teaching excellence and curriculum innovation.
• Developing (Level B), established (Level C) or nationally recognised (Level D) research profile.
• Evidence of leadership in governance, service or professional engagement (increasing with level).
