About the role
OpenTable is seeking a Lead Recruiter for the APAC region to shape and execute talent acquisition strategy across multiple functions. Based in Melbourne with a hybrid schedule, the role also welcomes remote candidates from Sydney.
Key responsibilities
- Own full‑cycle recruitment for commercial, sales, marketing, finance, and engineering roles in APAC.
- Develop and lead regional talent acquisition strategy, navigating ambiguity as a player‑coach.
- Source, screen, evaluate, and recommend candidates while tracking progress in Greenhouse.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting OpenTable’s employer brand throughout the region.
- Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Create, maintain, and report on recruiting metrics and pipeline forecasts.
Required profile
- 7+ years of recruiting experience in fast‑paced environments.
- Proven experience leading recruitment initiatives within the APAC region.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a player‑coach, balancing hands‑on recruiting with leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Required skills
- Greenhouse (or similar ATS) proficiency.
