Internal Audit Senior Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Consultant within Protiviti's Internal Audit and Financial Advisory (IAFA) practice, you will support the delivery of internal audit and advisory engagements for a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with managers and client stakeholders to identify risks, assess controls, and provide practical recommendations that drive business improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal audit and advisory engagements across financial and operational areas.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, walkthroughs, and control testing activities.
• Assist in preparing audit scopes, work programs, process flowcharts, and reports.
• Identify control weaknesses, business risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare clear documentation of findings and recommendations for review.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and client stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and broader practice activities.

Required profile

• Experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or consulting environments.
• Understanding of governance, risk, and internal control concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
