Information Security Analyst (Melbourne)

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join its Melbourne team. You will play a key part in safeguarding information assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting cyber‑operations across regulated sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor compliance with APRA CPS 234, ISO 27001, and NIST security frameworks.
• Implement and enforce Australian data‑privacy requirements, including the Privacy Act and NDB obligations.
• Support day‑to‑day cyber‑operations and information‑security activities within government, health, or financial‑services environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and remediate security risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, cyber operations, or compliance.
• Familiarity with APRA CPS 234, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks.
• Knowledge of Australian privacy legislation (Privacy Act, NDB requirements).
• Experience working in regulated industries such as government, health, or financial services.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or GIAC.
