About the role

This newly created Legal Counsel position sits within a large, well‑established organisation that operates in a highly regulated, sustainability‑focused environment. It is ideal for a commercial lawyer seeking a first in‑house move or an existing in‑house lawyer wanting broader commercial exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Managing procurement and supplier contracting processes.
• Providing legal support to operational and project teams.
• Advising on commercial risk and stakeholder issues.
• Supporting governance, compliance and regulatory matters.

Required profile

• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience (PAE).
• Strong background in commercial contracting.
• Training from a reputable corporate/commercial practice or in‑house legal team.
• Pragmatic, commercially‑minded approach.
