About the role

The Head of Small Business for South Australia and Western Australia will lead NAB’s award‑winning Small Business Bank in these regions. You will shape strategy, inspire teams and drive sustainable growth for small‑business customers while championing a customer‑obsessed culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate large distribution teams across SA and WA to deliver exceptional outcomes for small‑business clients.
• Translate enterprise strategy into clear, actionable plans and execute strategic priorities across the regions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and executive leaders to remove barriers and influence outcomes for the Small Business portfolio.
• Coach and develop leaders, building a strong leadership pipeline and high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large distribution teams and leading leaders.
• Customer‑first mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional results for small‑business customers.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to turn strategy into execution across regions.
• Background in commercial and personal lending.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at executive level.
