Head of Architecture

About the role

Endava Australia is looking for a senior architecture leader to drive pre‑sales and client‑facing activities across the Australian market. The Head of Architecture will work closely with client partners, sales, and delivery teams to shape solution options, qualify opportunities and ensure technical confidence throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture input into discovery, qualification, proposal development and solution strategy.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales to design credible, commercially realistic technical solutions.
• Translate client goals and constraints into practical architecture options, trade‑offs and delivery‑ready recommendations.
• Coach and mentor architects, strengthen architectural standards and support quality reviews.
• Create practical processes that connect architecture with sales, delivery and engineering leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a client‑facing architecture leader in a consulting or technology services environment.
• Strong consulting mindset – enjoys working with clients, shaping solutions and supporting sales conversations.
• Ability to guide delivery teams with clear technical direction from proposal to implementation.
• Experience building and scaling architecture capability within an organization.
