About the role
As a Guest Service Agent at Mantra Charles, you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless stay from check‑in to check‑out. You will work in a vibrant hotel environment located in the cultural heart of Launceston, Tasmania.
Key responsibilities
- Provide attentive, personalised service to every guest, creating a VIP experience throughout their stay.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve guest issues promptly, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
- Promote hotel amenities, restaurants and local attractions with thorough product knowledge.
- Accurately manage reservations, guest accounts and check‑in/check‑out procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience in hotel front‑desk or guest‑service roles is an asset.
- Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
