Group Accountant (Adelaide Hills)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Group Accountant to join our finance team in the Adelaide Hills. The role supports the financial integrity and performance of a growing hospitality group across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, review invoice coding, process supplier payments and reconcile statements.
• Prepare and process intercompany invoices, perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and maintain related schedules.
• Execute month‑end close activities, post journals, complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain fixed‑asset registers.
• Prepare weekly cash‑flow, AP ageing and operational reports; assist with management reporting, variance analysis and budgeting.
• Support statutory accounts, audits and tax compliance (IAS/BAS/GST) and contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and assist the broader finance team as needed.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or ACCA qualification (or actively working towards).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy and effective written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, modelling).
• Experience with ERP systems (desirable, not essential).
