About the role
Better Pet Vets is seeking a friendly, organised full‑time receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. Working four days a week (38 hours) with one rostered day off, you will help ensure every clinic visit runs smoothly and stress‑free.
Key responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage the flow of pets and people through the clinic.
- Schedule appointments, process payments and keep accurate client records.
- Provide clear, compassionate communication and support to pet owners.
- Assist with general administrative duties, marketing support and stock control.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and customer service.
- Support veterinary and nursing staff to keep daily operations efficient.
Required profile
- Warm, personable and able to stay calm under pressure.
- Highly organised with strong time‑management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Genuine love for animals and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
