French Teacher & Operations Leader

About the role

My French School is seeking a passionate French Teacher who will also lead school operations. You will combine classroom instruction with the management of teachers, curriculum, and client relationships to ensure the school runs smoothly and continues to deliver high‑quality French education.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, inform, and support the team of teachers on a daily basis.
• Provide feedback, replace absent teachers, and ensure continuity of classes.
• Develop, manage, and implement the French curriculum for children (2‑17), FLE programs, exam preparation, and adult courses.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new teachers as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular phone and email communication.
• Answer enquiries, convert leads into new students, and generate leads via social media and targeted local advertising.

• Passionate about French culture with excellent presentation skills and strong work ethics.
• Warm, enthusiastic, calm under pressure, and able to inspire a positive atmosphere.
• Loves working with children and values teamwork.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, commercially astute, and eager to help the school thrive.
• Effective communicator, capable of leading without onsite supervision and providing weekly updates to the founder.
