About the role
DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Freight Management Specialist to support freight operations within its Transport division. The role ensures daily hub capacity is maintained and freight moves through the network without delay, contributing to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee welfare.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure scanning compliance and ageing reporting are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain strong stock control by following governance processes.
- Manage booking and non‑booking freight exceptions effectively.
- Support the resolution of lost‑in‑transit consignments.
- Drive hub ecosystem standards, operational consistency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support critical safety obligations, including hazard management and Behaviour‑Based Safety compliance.
- Deliver training to operational team members on root‑cause identification and best‑practice procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight operations.
- Strong and effective communicator with the ability to influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- High‑level verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Innovative, motivated self‑starter.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
