Field Service Technician

About the role

Ecoboxtec, an Australian manufacturer of recycling equipment, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and optimise recycling systems. The role offers autonomy and the chance to lead on‑site machinery maintenance while working with a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service recycling equipment, including crushers and conveyors.
• Travel to customer sites to install, assemble, and troubleshoot machinery.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts and perform repairs.
• Assist in the manufacture of recycling equipment.
• Work occasional overtime as required.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and basic software systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
• Experience with tools, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance versus reactive repairs.
• Current Australian open driver’s licence and right to work in Australia.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and use of PPE.
