Experienced External Audit Analyst – Perth

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced analyst to join its external audit team in Perth. You will work alongside senior auditors on a variety of ASX‑listed and privately owned clients, gaining exposure to complex accounting issues in the mining and oil & gas sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements for diverse clients, applying Deloitte’s audit methodology.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop innovative audit solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff throughout the audit process.
• Assist in the design and development of audit tools and procedures.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in external audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or a related field.
• Eligible for or commenced a CA qualification (or equivalent).
• Professional services experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, project management and multitasking abilities.
