About the role
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative support and coordination to the Office of the Regional Executive in the Barkly Region. This role assists the Regional Executive Director with day‑to‑day executive functions, ensuring smooth operation of the unit.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Regional Executive Director’s calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and briefing materials.
- Coordinate inter‑departmental communications and follow‑up on action items.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and confidential documents.
- Support the Office of the Regional Executive with project tracking and stakeholder liaison.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative or executive support role (Administrative Officer 4 level or equivalent).
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
