Engineering Technician

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is looking for a dedicated Engineering Technician to join its facilities team. You will support the hotel’s operations by responding to guest repair requests, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and record the condition of tools and machinery.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Fix minor plumbing issues, assemble pipe sections, and test for leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.

Required profile

• Unrestricted working rights for Australia (preferred).
• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
