Engineering Manager – Mining & Process Plants

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of major mining and mineral processing projects in Brisbane. The role spans study phases such as PFS, DFS and FEED and extends through full project execution, working closely with EPCM partners and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across feasibility studies and project delivery phases.
• Provide oversight and direction to multidisciplinary design teams (civil, mechanical, structural, process).
• Manage scope, schedule and cost inputs, including support for CAPEX estimation.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure quality, compliance and alignment with client requirements.
• Interface with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to drive project progress.
• Support project reporting, progress tracking and contribute technically where needed.

Required profile

• 15‑30+ years of experience in mining, mineral processing or process plant projects.
• Background in engineering design (civil, mechanical, structural or process).
• Proven experience in engineering management or senior project engineering roles, preferably within EPCM or consultancy environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead PFS, DFS, FEED and detailed design phases on greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
