Electrical Design Engineer – Gladstone

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Queensland Industrial team in Gladstone. You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to deliver high‑quality electrical solutions for local and national industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design solutions across a variety of projects.
• Support power system modelling and analysis.
• Produce detailed design documentation and deliverables.
• Contribute to multi‑disciplinary project teams.
• Assist with project coordination, including tracking progress and budgets.
• Apply relevant standards, client specifications, and best practices.
• Continuously develop technical capability in HV/LV systems, instrumentation and control.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to power systems, HV/LV design, and/or control systems.
• Ability to apply standards and client specifications to design work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
