About the role

Join Harbour at Home as a Domestic Assistant, providing essential cleaning and household support to aged clients in the Port Macquarie area. This role helps seniors maintain safe, comfortable homes, enabling them to live independently within their community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom/kitchen sanitation.
• Make beds, change linen, and handle laundry duties including hanging, folding, and ironing.
• Maintain a tidy and hazard‑free environment to reduce health and safety risks.
• Build rapport with clients, communicating clearly and respectfully.

Required profile

• A caring nature with strong empathy and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized, adaptable to change, and seeking stable, flexible work.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Clear national criminal history/police check.
