Director – Investor Relations & Capital

About the role

This senior, investor‑facing position leads investor relations and capital formation for a specialist private credit manager operating across Australia and New Zealand. You will be the primary day‑to‑day interface with existing and prospective investors, representing the firm’s strategies independently.

Key responsibilities

• Own communication with existing investors, including quarterly reporting, presentations and bespoke information requests.
• Drive capital raising across all strategies, building and managing a pipeline of institutional, wholesale and high‑net‑worth prospects.
• Manage relationships with third‑party distribution partners, placement agents and platforms, overseeing service‑level agreements and performance.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor forums and one‑on‑one meetings.
• Partner with investment, product and operations teams to align investor communication with portfolio activity.
• Contribute to marketing collateral, thought leadership and broader brand positioning.

Required profile

• 8–15+ years in investor relations, capital raising or institutional sales, preferably within private credit, fixed income or alternatives.
• Strong technical grounding in credit markets, fund structures and portfolio dynamics.
• Proven track record of raising capital and retaining sophisticated institutional and wholesale investors.
• Experience working alongside third‑party distributors or capital partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial, self‑directed and comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.
