DevSecOps Engineer – Azure Cloud Operations

About the role

The DevSecOps Engineer will own a secure, reliable, and scalable Azure cloud environment for a fast‑growing biotech scale‑up. You will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, work closely with development and operations teams, and help bring a new product to market.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security principles into the DevOps pipeline, making security a shared responsibility.
• Automate security testing, monitor vulnerabilities, and enforce robust controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and enhance the Azure platform, driving governance, risk assessments, and compliance.
• Execute and optimise CI/CD processes, including client provisioning, RBAC management, and IaC deployments.
• Respond to production incidents and perform operational tasks to maintain platform security.
• Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements and stay current on industry trends.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Azure and DevSecOps.
• Azure certifications and a degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance, governance, monitoring and incident response.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies across the SDLC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
