About the role
We are looking for a Datacenter Technician to keep our customer and company data‑center services running smoothly. The role combines hardware troubleshooting, physical network installation, and strong communication to support both internal teams and external clients.
Key responsibilities
- Perform break‑fix and preventive maintenance on servers and networking equipment.
- Maintain a 14‑day SLA for all assigned data‑center locations.
- Execute deployment tasks, monitor schedules and report completion.
- Attend daily stand‑up meetings and provide status updates.
- Update asset information in SharePoint and inventory records in ServiceNow.
- Maintain personal toolsets and ensure proper documentation of processes.
- Mentor and train junior service technicians.
Required profile
- Australian citizen with NV1 or valid Baseline security clearance.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Physical network cabling and equipment installation.
- Experience with SharePoint asset tracking.
- Experience with ServiceNow (Snow) inventory management.
