Data Analyst

About the role

The Data Analyst will collect, analyse and interpret structured and semi‑structured data to support business decision‑making. Working closely with stakeholders, the analyst translates business requirements into analytical solutions and delivers insights through dashboards, reports and presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, query and manipulate data using SQL.
• Design and maintain interactive visualisations in Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Develop advanced Excel models, pivot tables and formulas for ad‑hoc analysis.
• Identify trends, patterns and anomalies and communicate findings to business partners.
• Support reporting automation and contribute to data‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product and cross‑functional teams to improve data availability and quality.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of KPIs and business metrics.
• Ability to convey complex insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and handling multiple priorities.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Power BI, Tableau or comparable data‑visualisation tools.
• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
• Fundamental knowledge of data analysis concepts and KPI tracking.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) – nice to have.
• Basic experience with Python or R for automation – nice to have.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes and Agile/Scrum environments – nice to have.
