Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

Protiviti is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead and expand its Cybersecurity Operations & Technical Services practice. In this senior role you will shape security strategies, design modern zero‑trust architectures and guide clients in strengthening their security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver tailored cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps aligned with client risk profiles and business goals.
• Architect identity‑centric, zero‑trust solutions integrating IAM/PAM, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, EDR/XDR and cloud‑native controls across hybrid environments.
• Oversee integration, optimization and automation of security platforms, advanced threat detection and response operations.
• Align governance and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, Essential 8) with regulatory obligations and quantify cyber and identity risks.
• Lead, mentor and grow multidisciplinary security teams while acting as a trusted advisor to CISOs and business leaders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven ability to design and implement security programs for large, complex organizations.
• Strong communication and advisory skills to influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, Essential 8, Zero Trust frameworks.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR).
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) / Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
• Cloud‑native security controls and hybrid environment integration.
• Automation and orchestration of security operations.
