About the role
Jetstar is looking for a Customer Payment Specialist to lead enhancements to card‑present payment solutions at airports and onboard. This 12‑month fixed‑term role will support strategic projects and drive operational efficiency across all points of sale.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end customer experience, processes and reporting for card‑present payments.
- Define product vision and roadmap for payment solutions over short, medium and long terms.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including SOPs.
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce cost, enhance customer experience and increase internal efficiencies.
- Spot new revenue opportunities and use cases for card‑present payment solutions.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Experience in card‑present payment solutions, including set‑up and ongoing maintenance.
- Proven supplier/partner management experience.
- Background in policy and process development and implementation.
Required skills
- MS Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (preferred).
