Construction Manager – Fire Protection

About the role

Guardian Protection Services is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead fire protection projects across Sydney. You will be responsible for delivering complex, high‑profile installations from start to finish while ensuring safety, compliance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee simultaneous fire protection projects, managing construction teams, subcontractors and project managers.
• Coordinate labour, procurement, fabrication, deliveries and on‑site activities.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project specifications.
• Monitor budgets, forecast variations and drive commercial performance.
• Lead project programmes, construction sequencing, QA, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical support to project teams.
• Maintain workplace health and safety compliance on all sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the fire protection industry.
• Strong knowledge of sprinkler, hydrant and fire detection systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage construction teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent commercial and project management capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
