Construction Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to join the leadership team of a fast‑growing South Australian commercial builder. This senior position will work closely with the Directors to drive operational excellence across high‑end commercial, multi‑storey residential, industrial and mixed‑use projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance across multiple construction sites.
• Mentor and support Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery teams.
• Manage programme schedules, budgets and quality outcomes for active projects.
• Contribute to business planning, forecasting and strategic operational initiatives.
• Implement and refine systems, processes and delivery structures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Support business growth and strengthen the company’s market presence in Adelaide.

Required profile

• Proven operational leadership experience in commercial construction.
• Track record delivering commercial, mixed‑use or multi‑storey residential projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach to project delivery.
• Commercial insight with the capacity to contribute strategically to business growth.
• Collaborative leadership style suited to a growing business environment.
