Common Area Cleaner – Resort Housekeeping

About the role

Minor Hotels is expanding its housekeeping team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and is looking for dedicated Common Area Cleaners. In this full‑time, onsite position you will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that guests expect across all shared spaces of the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all common guest areas to the highest hygienic and visual standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental standards while using specialised cleaning equipment.
• Handle heavy lifting, bin management and movement of bulky items safely.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and guests to support a respectful work environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive bending, lifting and standing.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members and contractors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
