About the role
We are seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead Jacana Energy in delivering reliable, customer‑focused electricity services across a competitive market. Based in Darwin, the CEO will be responsible for creating long‑term business value while ensuring operational excellence and community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s strategic direction to achieve sustainable financial performance.
- Oversee delivery of cost‑effective, reliable electricity services to customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with shareholders, regulators, and community stakeholders.
- Drive operational excellence and position Jacana Energy as the retailer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with board‑delegated authority and governance standards.
Required profile
- Proven senior executive experience in the energy or utilities sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex organisations.
- Strong track record of delivering customer and shareholder satisfaction.
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision‑making capabilities.
