Catering Attendant

About the role

Join Australia’s leading inflight catering and retail partner as a Catering Attendant. You will help create a memorable dining experience for passengers on some of the world’s top airlines, working in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and plate meals according to visual presentation guides.
• Assemble meal trays to airline specifications and load them into airline carts.
• Stock airline carts with packaged food, beverages and equipment.
• Load and unload dishwashers, ensuring cutlery, crockery and glassware are clean and in perfect condition.
• Handle and dispose of international catering waste in line with bio‑security and operational requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and safety policies, including HACCP, IFSA and QSAI standards.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members to meet delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Clear National Police Check.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound numeracy for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift items as required.
• Flexibility to work a 7‑day rotating roster and 38 hours per week.
• Neat, tidy presentation with a strong focus on hygiene.

Required skills

• Food hygiene knowledge (HACCP).
• Basic knife handling skills.
• Numeracy for documentation.
