About the role
As a Category Manager for Cider & Spirits, you will shape the growth of these beverage categories by delivering insights and strategies that guide Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales decisions. You will act as the internal champion for the categories, driving innovation, leading strategic projects and partnering with customers to unlock growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver category insights and strategies that inform Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales.
- Lead strategic innovation development, commercialisation and customer engagement together with Marketing and Insights teams.
- Initiate, develop and manage key projects to solve strategic category challenges both internally and with trade partners.
- Provide clear recommendations on range and space objectives for existing SKUs and new product development.
- Translate category strategy into Joint Business Plans, Category Reviews, Customer Deep Dives and NPD engagement decks.
- Create and deliver category sell‑stories to external customers, linking internal initiatives to growth opportunities through joint business planning and NPD sell‑in.
Required profile
- Experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing or Account Management within FMCG.
- Exposure to major customers such as Woolworths or Coles.
- Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual.
Required skills
- Scan/shopper data analysis (experience with Quantium, Summit).
