About the role
Tesla is looking for a high‑performing Business Development Manager to lead commercial charging sales across Australia and the broader APAC region. You will be responsible for selling DC charging products to major commercial partners, charge point operators, distributors and real‑estate owners, helping make EV charging more accessible and reliable.
Key responsibilities
- Drive ambitious growth in commercial charging sales across key accounts throughout APAC.
- Identify and close new deals, expand existing relationships and increase volume across accounts.
- Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline across diverse customer sectors.
- Support partner onboarding, training and high‑quality installations to improve partner experience.
- Provide field insights to influence product improvements and create new demand.
- Develop marketing and sales materials and represent Tesla at industry events.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience managing sales pipelines or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of APAC EV charging markets (preferred).
- First‑principles thinking, urgency, ownership of outcomes and comfort in high‑accountability environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
- Self‑motivated and proactive in completing tasks and exceeding goals.
