Boilermaker – Full-time positions in Yatala, QLD

About the role

Motion is seeking two experienced Boilermakers for full‑time roles at our Yatala, Queensland site. You will join a growing, inclusive team that supports industrial operations across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance, including welding activities, on plant and structural components.
• Work on scheduled shutdowns and general maintenance tasks.
• Carry out repair work in line with work schedules and company guidelines.
• Fabricate and install structural site works as required.

Required profile

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III) in Fabrication.
• Full driver’s licence.
• Solid experience in structural fabrication, welding and site maintenance.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads and support team members.

Required skills

• TIG welding (preferred).
• MIG welding (preferred).
• Stick welding (preferred).
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) operation.
• Working at heights.
• Forklift operation.
• Confined space entry.
