Backend Engineer - Remote

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that meet strict performance and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Write clean, well‑documented, and thoroughly tested code following best engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and share knowledge across the engineering team.

• Contribute to architecture discussions, proposing innovative and solution‑oriented ideas.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
