Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance

About the role

You’ll join Youi’s Finance team as an Accountant, responsible for month‑end close, financial reporting and tax compliance. The role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and offers the chance to influence financial integrity and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Analyse income statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and support indirect tax obligations such as BAS, FBT and insurance‑related returns.
• Strengthen and document financial processes, controls and governance practices.
• Coach and support Assistant Accountants.

Required profile

• CPA/CA qualified with solid experience in financial accounting.
• Strong technical expertise across general ledger, tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with ability to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Ability to manage deadlines, complexity and large volumes of financial data.
• Ownership‑driven with focus on continuous improvement and team contribution.
